The history

In early '60s, FINCIBEC starts producing floor tiles in fine porcelain ceramic stoneware, marketed under the brand Cibec. Then, in 1970, it starts producing frost-proof white single fired floor tiles, a true revolution in the ceramic field. At the same time, the productive range is completed by the introduction of decorated wall tiles in white body.
Innovation and technological research have always been the main targets of FINCIBEC, contributing significantly to the evolution of the ceramic product and to the leadership worldwide of Sassuolo ceramic district. Fifty years after its establishment, FINCIBEC nowadays faces the market with three separate commercial brands: Monocibec, Century and Naxos.

| Monocibec is specialized in the realization of floor products with high technological and esthetic content, specially focused on residential building. Great commitment in complying with the requirements and with the technical and environmental standards; steady research on esthetic trends required by the living building.
Naxos represents the perfect combination of research, creativity and innovation, focused on offering ceramic wall tiles able to meet to most refined furnishing trends. Colour, structure and depth of Naxos wall tiles are the result of a steady esthetic study and of the application of the most innovative ceramic technologies, to meet the contemporary design demands.
Century offers products with a trendy and innovative esthetics, realized with the latest generation technologies and targeted mostly to public, commercial, industrial and technical building. Century offers the market collections that are peerless as for performance and design solutions, to follow the latest trends by architects and designers.

The seats
|
The historical seat of the Fincibec group is in via Magellano, in Sassuolo, today the Project and Exhibition logistic platform. The commercial successes and the productive requirements have led the company to widen its presence in the territory of the ceramic district over the years.
Therefore, in 1981 the factory Monocibec in Casiglie - specialised in the production of glazed ceramic stoneware - has been opened. In 1992 the Naxos factory in Solignano - specialized in the production of large sized white body wall tiles - has been opened. Finally, in 1995, the Century factory in Roteglia (Reggio Emilia), specialized in the production of technical fine porcelain stoneware.
The second logistic platform is located in Solignano.
